Usually yes. Domains, hosting, and code accounts are almost always recoverable, often through the providers directly, because the business that paid for them has a claim to them. It is more common than you think, and we have done it before.

Do I need to know what technology my software uses?

No. Tell us the web address, share whatever logins and emails you still have, and we will work the rest out. Not knowing what you own is a symptom of the problem, not a reason to be embarrassed.

Is the work salvageable, or do I have to start again?

Almost always salvageable. Starting over is expensive, slow, and usually recommended by people who find reading someone else's work harder than writing their own. We will look properly first and tell you honestly.

How do I know you will not go quiet too?

You are hiring a team with a delivery commitment, not an individual. Each plan has a turnaround it is held to, everything is visible on your board, and you can cancel at the end of any period. We have to keep earning it every month.

What if I want to leave?

You can, at the end of any period, and you take everything with you. The code is yours, it lives in your accounts, and it is left in a state another team can pick up. We do not hold anything hostage, because that is exactly the trap you are trying to get out of.
