AsyncForge for Online Course and Membership Creators

You built an audience and a real business on top of a platform you do not control, and it is quietly taking a cut of every member. We build you your own, so the revenue and the customer relationship stay with you.

The Platform Tax on Course Businesses

It usually starts sensibly. You had something to teach, you needed somewhere to put it, and an all-in-one platform got you selling in a weekend. That was the right call at the time. But businesses that work grow, and the thing that got you to your first hundred members is very often the thing standing between you and your first thousand. The platform decides what your checkout looks like. The platform decides what a "member" is. The platform decides which integrations exist. You are running a real company inside someone else's product.

Then there is the money. Per-member fees, per-seat pricing, transaction cuts and tier upgrades are designed to grow exactly as fast as you do. It is easy to ignore at 50 students and impossible to ignore at 2,000, when you look at the annual invoice and realise you are paying more for the software than you would pay to have simply had it built. That is a tax on your own success, and it never stops. Every new member you work hard to win arrives with a permanent fee attached.

The daily friction is just as expensive, even though it is harder to put a number on. You want to drip the content differently for the cohort version. You want a proper trial that converts into a subscription without three manual steps. You want an annual plan, a team plan, a corporate invoice, a payment plan for the people who need one. You want your community and your courses to feel like one product instead of four tabs stitched together. Every single one of those is a normal business request, and every single one of them gets answered by your platform with a shrug and a feature request board.

AsyncForge builds the thing you actually wanted. Your course platform, your member area, your community, your payment and subscription flows, working the way your business works instead of the way a product manager somewhere else decided it should. You do not need a technical brief to start. You describe what you want members to experience, we ask the questions that matter, and we build it. The price is flat: €2,000 a month for delivery within 4 business days, €4,000 for within 2, €8,000 for within 1. Unlimited requests, handled one at a time, with unlimited revisions until it does what you meant.

The economics are the point. A platform fee scales with your member count forever. A build is finished, owned, and then it just keeps working. Once you are off the per-seat model, growth stops being something you pay for. And because you own the code, nobody can change your pricing, deprecate a feature you depend on, or hold your member list hostage. Migration is the part people fear most, so we treat it that way: members, content, subscriptions and access all move over without your customers losing their place or being asked to sign up again.

What this means for you

Stop paying per member

Replace per-seat and per-member platform fees with a fixed cost. Growing your audience stops making your software bill grow with it.

Your platform works how you sell

Trials, payment plans, annual pricing, team seats, cohorts, upsells. If it makes sense for your business, it gets built. No feature request board.

You own it outright

The code is yours. Nobody can raise your rates, remove a feature you rely on, or sit between you and your members.

Migrations handled properly

Members, courses, community history and active subscriptions move across without people losing progress or being asked to sign up again.

One product, not five tools

Courses, community, payments and member accounts in one place, with one login and one experience, instead of a stack of tabs held together with tape.

Built for non-technical founders

You describe what members should experience. We handle everything underneath and explain the decisions in plain language, without jargon.

Common tasks we handle

Your own course platform

Lessons, progress tracking, certificates, quizzes, downloads and a member experience that looks like your brand instead of a template everyone recognises.

Subscriptions and payment flows

Free trials, monthly and annual plans, payment plans, upgrades, downgrades, failed payment recovery and dunning. The plumbing that quietly decides your revenue.

Drip content and cohorts

Release lessons on a schedule, by cohort, by tier, or when someone finishes the module before. Keep people moving instead of overwhelmed.

Getting off a bloated platform

A full migration off the tool you have outgrown, with your members, your content and your active subscriptions intact and your fees gone.

Frequently asked questions

Is it not risky to leave the platform everything is on?
The risk is in doing it badly, so we plan the migration first, move members, content and subscriptions carefully, and keep the old platform running until the new one is proven. Your members should notice a better experience, not a disruption.
Will this actually cost me less than my platform?
Do the arithmetic on your own numbers. A platform fee is a percentage of your growth, paid forever. Our price is flat: €2,000, €4,000 or €8,000 a month depending on how fast you want work back, and you can stop once the build is where you want it. For most creators past a few hundred paying members, owning it wins, and the gap widens every year.
I do not know what I need built. Where do I even start?
That is normal, and it is what the free 15-minute intro call is for. Describe what you sell and what is getting in the way. We will tell you what we would build, in what order, and what it changes for your revenue. No technical brief required.
How do I know a developer will not take advantage of me?
There is no hourly rate to pad and no change orders to argue about. One fixed monthly price, unlimited requests one at a time, unlimited revisions, a 7-day free trial, and you can cancel at the end of any period. You also own the code, so you are never trapped with us.
How much of my time does this take?
Less than you expect. Work happens in writing on a simple board where you can see what is in progress and what is next, so you are not sitting on calls. Calls are optional if you want one. You bring the direction, we handle the rest.

AsyncForge is invite-only
