You do not need a spec, a wireframe, or any technical knowledge to start. Describe the problem the way you would to a colleague: what is slow, what customers complain about, what you keep doing by hand every week. We ask a few questions, work out the right way to build it, and tell you what we plan to do before we start. Most of our customers run a business, not an engineering team, and they never have to learn what a database or a framework is to get good software out of us. For example, "people keep phoning to book because they cannot do it on the site" is a perfectly good brief, and we take it from there. **Q: How does the subscription work?** A: One subscription covers one project. Choose a plan by the turnaround you need: Light (€2,000/mo), Standard (€4,000/mo), or Pro (€8,000/mo). All plans include unlimited requests and start with a 7-day free trial. We work on one task at a time per project, in the priority order you set on your Kanban board, so the most important work is always what gets attention first. You add and reorder requests as often as you like — the queue is yours to manage, and there is no per-request charge. For example, you might queue a new checkout flow, a bug fix, and a marketing page; we deliver them one after another, top of the list first, and you can reshuffle that order at any moment. Pause or cancel at the end of any billing period. **Q: What counts as one project?** A: One project is one deployable unit with its own release cycle. A web platform with an API, frontend, and admin panel in the same codebase counts as one project because they ship together on a single release schedule. A mobile app for that same platform counts as a separate project — different codebase, independent deploys, its own release cadence. The test we apply is simple: if two things deploy on their own timelines from their own repositories, they are two projects. So a SaaS web app plus its companion iOS app would be two subscriptions running in parallel. If you only need one of them worked on at a time, you can stay on a single plan and switch focus by pausing one and resuming the other at a billing boundary. **Q: What happens if a task is too large to finish in one go?** A: We break it down into smaller subtasks and communicate the breakdown clearly on your Kanban board. You always know what we are working on now and what is coming next. We then work through the subtasks one at a time, in sequence. **Q: Do you give estimates or commit to deadlines?** A: No. We do not do time estimates or promise deadlines — estimates in software are notoriously unreliable and create the wrong incentives. We would rather spend that time actually building. The 7-day free trial is the best way to see our real pace on your real project. **Q: Is there a free trial?** A: Yes. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and it is a real working trial rather than a demo — we start on your actual project from day one so you see our true pace and quality. We send an invoice at the start of the trial and keep building the whole time. Pay the invoice within 7 days and your subscription continues seamlessly with no interruption to the work. If you decide it is not the right fit, you simply do not pay the invoice and we part ways with no further obligations on either side. For example, you could bring a real bug and a real feature to that first week and judge us on how they land, not on a sales pitch. **Q: What counts as one request?** A: A request is a single, well-defined task — like building a feature, fixing a bug, or creating an API endpoint. Requests are unlimited on every plan, so you can queue as many as you like; we simply work through them one at a time in the priority order you set. When a feature is large, we break it into multiple requests for clarity and faster delivery, and we show that breakdown on your Kanban board so you always know what is in progress and what comes next. For example, "add Stripe checkout" might become three requests: the payment API, the frontend flow, and the confirmation emails — each delivered in sequence rather than in one big, hard-to-review drop. **Q: How fast will I receive my work?** A: It depends on your plan. Pro delivers within 1 business day, Standard within 48 hours, and Light within 4 business days. That turnaround is the target for each task we pick up in your queue, not a promise on the whole backlog at once, since we work one task at a time in your priority order. Larger features are split into smaller subtasks so you keep seeing steady delivery at your plan speed rather than waiting on one big drop. For example, on Standard a well-scoped bug fix typically lands inside 48 hours, while a bigger feature arrives as a sequence of 48-hour pieces. You track every step in real time on your Kanban dashboard, so there is never a question of where things stand. **Q: Do you work with existing codebases?** A: Yes. We work with existing projects, not just greenfield builds. Because every line is written by a vetted senior engineer, we are comfortable stepping into code we did not write — reading the architecture, following existing conventions, and matching the patterns already in place rather than rewriting things for their own sake. Share your repo access and we review the codebase, get oriented, and start contributing quickly. For example, if you have a React and FastAPI app already in production, we can pick up your next feature or bug in that same stack without a lengthy ramp-up. If we ever hit something we cannot support at the quality we expect, we tell you honestly instead of guessing. **Q: What is the difference between the plans?** A: The plans differ in turnaround speed and check-in-call cadence, not in what you can build. Light (€2,000/mo) delivers within 4 business days with monthly calls, Standard (€4,000/mo) within 48 hours with bi-weekly calls, and Pro (€8,000/mo) within 1 business day with weekly calls. Everything else is identical across tiers: unlimited requests, the Kanban dashboard, unlimited team members, and a 7-day free trial. So the choice is really about how fast you need each task turned around and how often you want a live sync — the same senior engineering goes into all three. For example, a founder shipping urgent, daily changes usually picks Pro, while a steady roadmap with occasional bursts fits Standard or Light comfortably. ### Billing **Q: How does payment work?** A: Billing is in advance at the start of each period. If you subscribe on the 15th, your period runs until the 15th of the following month. If payment is not received on time, work stops until it is settled. **Q: Can I pause my subscription?** A: Yes. A pause takes effect at the end of your current billing period and we keep working until then. When you resume you pay that day and a new period starts from there. Important: pausing puts you at the back of the queue — if we are at capacity when you want to come back, you will be on the waitlist until a slot opens. **Q: How does cancellation work?** A: Cancel any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds. No long-term contracts. **Q: What if you are at full capacity?** A: We intentionally limit the number of active projects we take on so every client gets our full attention. When we are full, new clients go on a waitlist and we notify you as soon as a slot opens. **Q: Do you have a referral program?** A: Yes. If you refer a new client and they subscribe, you earn 10% of their monthly subscription fee for as long as they remain a customer — no cap on the number of referrals, no time limit on the commission. Example: if they subscribe to Pro at €8,000/mo, you receive €800 every month they stay. Payouts are processed monthly. Reach out if you want to refer someone and we will set it up. **Q: What payment methods do you accept?** A: We accept all major credit cards and bank transfers via Stripe. Invoices are generated automatically at the start of each period. **Q: Are prices listed with or without VAT?** A: All prices exclude VAT. VAT is added based on your location during checkout. EU business customers can provide their VAT number for reverse charge. ### Support **Q: What if I am not satisfied with the work?** A: We revise until you are satisfied. Your subscription covers unlimited revisions on any delivered task, so there is never an extra charge or a capped number of rounds for getting something right. Revisions run at your plan turnaround just like any other request — you leave feedback in the task comments on your Kanban board, and we pick the change back up in your priority order. For example, if a delivered feature works but the flow is not quite how you pictured it, you comment on the task, we adjust, and it comes back to you at your normal plan speed. If something is genuinely broken, fixing it is always our first priority. **Q: How do I communicate with the team?** A: Day-to-day communication happens through task comments on your Kanban dashboard. Calls are optional: an onboarding call is available, and you can book check-in calls via our booking link (cadence capped by plan — Light monthly, Standard bi-weekly, Pro weekly). All calls are recorded via Fantom. **Q: Can I have a video call if needed?** A: Yes. Book an optional onboarding or check-in call whenever you want one. You can also keep everything fully async — the dashboard and task comments are always there. ### Technical **Q: What technologies do you work with?** A: You do not need to answer this one, we do. We pick whatever fits your business best and we are happy to work with whatever you already have. If you are curious: we specialize in modern web development: React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Tailwind CSS, and more. If a task falls outside our core expertise we tell you, and we may bring in a trusted senior from our own network. If we cannot guarantee the quality, we decline the work honestly rather than deliver something subpar. **Q: How does deployment work?** A: For anything you would reasonably want to test, we deploy to your staging environment and wait for your sign-off in the dashboard before pushing to production. For small, low-risk changes we may deploy straight away — and if you would rather approve every deploy regardless of size, just tell us and we will always wait. By default we save our work directly to your codebase as we go; if your team prefers a stricter setup, we agree on it during onboarding. **Q: Do you handle deployment and hosting?** A: Yes. We can set up and manage your deployment infrastructure. If you do not already have a staging environment, we will set one up for you. Any accounts we create are in your name and remain fully under your ownership. **Q: Do you write tests?** A: Yes. We write unit and integration tests as part of our standard development process. Every line of code is written by a vetted senior engineer — no juniors, no offshore outsourcing. **Q: Can you work with my design files?** A: Yes. Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or hand-drawn wireframes — just attach them to your task. ### Legal & Trust **Q: Who owns the code we build?** A: You do. All code, designs, and deliverables produced during your subscription are fully owned by you from the moment they are delivered. AsyncForge retains no rights to anything built for your project — there is no license we hold back, no shared IP, and nothing that reverts to us if you cancel. That includes any infrastructure or accounts we set up on your behalf, which are created in your name and stay under your ownership. For example, if we build a feature and later provision a staging environment for it, both the code and the environment are yours to keep, move, or hand to another team without asking us. What you pay for is simply, and completely, yours. **Q: Do you sign NDAs?** A: Yes. Send yours over and we review and sign it without any hassle. Even before an NDA is in place, everything you share with us is treated as confidential by default, so you are never exposed while paperwork is being sorted out. That covers your codebase, your product plans, and anything discussed in calls or task comments. For example, if you want an NDA signed before you grant repository access on day one, that is completely fine — we will turn it around quickly so onboarding is not held up. Confidentiality is simply how we operate, and putting it in writing changes nothing about the care we already take with your information. **Q: What if a competitor of mine becomes a client?** A: We reach out to you first before taking on any new client whose business closely resembles yours in a way that could create a conflict of interest. We only proceed if you are comfortable with it, so you always have a say rather than finding out after the fact. Combined with the confidentiality we apply by default, this means your product plans and codebase are never shared across clients regardless of who else we work with. For example, if another founder in your exact niche approached us, we would come to you before onboarding them and would decline if you were not at ease with it. Your interests come before an extra signup. **Q: What about liability?** A: We deliver software on a best-effort basis, backed by unlimited revisions. AsyncForge is not liable for damages resulting from the work we deliver — financial liability rests with you as the product owner. If something goes wrong we do everything we can to fix it quickly. ### Getting Started **Q: How do I get started?** A: AsyncForge is invite-only, so the first step is a free 15-minute intro call with Stef via our booking link. That call is simply to check that we are a fit for your project — there is no obligation and no sales pressure. If it is a match, we set up your account and Kanban dashboard, your 7-day free trial begins, and you can start adding tasks right away while we get oriented in your codebase. For example, you could book the call today, be onboarded shortly after, and have your first real task in progress inside that same trial week. From there it is unlimited requests at your plan turnaround, one task at a time in your priority order. **Q: Can I invite my team members?** A: Absolutely. You can invite unlimited team members to your company account. Everyone can view progress and add comments. **Q: Do I need technical knowledge to use AsyncForge?** A: Not at all. Describe what you need in plain language and we handle the technical details. Writing technical specifications is our job, not yours. **Q: I am starting from zero — can you help?** A: Yes. If you have no codebase, no infrastructure, no accounts yet, we handle the setup: repositories, dev environment, staging environment, everything in place before we write a line of feature code. ## Optional - [Privacy Policy](https://asyncforge.com/privacy/) - [Terms of Service](https://asyncforge.com/terms/)
